In recent fighting game news, Capcom announced the 2025 launch of Capcom Fighting Collection 2. This collection brings back classic Capcom fighting games, originally ported onto the Dreamcast, Project Justice (the sequel to Rival Schools: United by Fate), and Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein (the sequel to Star Gladiator).

As a fighting fan, especially with Rival Schools, I was thrilled at the news.

Before that announcement, Capcom announced the upcoming launch of the MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics.

That means we get to play Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, Project Justice, Plasma Sword, and Power Stone (both games) on modern-gen consoles.
