Ever Wonder If People Used Power Armor To “Dong Chim” People In ‘The Expanse?’

Seeing Jung perform the “dong chim” on Kimchee in ‘Kim’s Convenience,’ and then seeing Simu Liu’s scene as Lt. Meyer in ‘The Expanse’ had me wondering about the idea.

In celebration of Halloween month, I typed up a humor-themed piece regarding the Jeepers Creepers franchise.

Does Anyone Else Think That The Creeper (Literally) Had To Eat Y’know What At One Point?

When I thought about whether or not the titular Creeper had to eat specific organs at one point or another, I was reminded of a question I thought up when I watched Simu Liu in The Expanse long AFTER I saw him as Jung in the first season of Kim’s Convenience when he performed a “dong chim” (known as Japan as a “kancho” and known in China as a “qiannian sha”) on Kimchee at the workplace. This act is accepted as a childish prank in Japan and Korea, so “no harm, no foul.”
