Central Florida Comic Con 2025 (CFCC ‘25), from January 17 to January 19, was the first time the event was held for three days instead of two. It’s not uncommon for conventions to be held for three days but there are conventions (like Orlando Mega Con and Anime Expo) that last up to four days.

The company behind CFCC likely decided to make it a 3-day event because that Friday was an “Early Release Day” where the county’s public schools get out early between 11 AM and 1 PM, plus the following Monday was Martin Luther King Day (MLK Day). Hurricane Milton, however, rolled through Florida in October, canceling school for many days. In November, the school board canceled Early Release Day to make up for the lost school days.
