Exploring Central Florida Comic Con 2025 — Ricco Fajardo’s Acting Workshop
A unique acting workshop where I was able to apply my Tai Chi Chuan training.
After the Emily Swallow panel concluded on Day 2 of Central Florida Comic Con 2025 (CFCC 2025), I walked the halls for roughly 15 minutes before I returned for a special panel with Ricco Fajardo. I assumed it would be a typical panel where the guest and moderator would talk, but it was an acting mini-workshop conducted by Ricco. I couldn’t take a video because of the other people participating in the workshop, especially those who were camera-shy.
The workshop was titled “Your Inner Hadouken!”
I participated in the workshop because of my high school and college stage theatre background. This was a new experience as Ricco applied his Tai Chi Chuan training.
He learned a Tai Chi Chuan style based on 5-Animal Kung-Fu. This was right up my alley because I studied Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan for almost three years. Everyone who participated, myself included…
