Exploring Central Florida Comic Con 2025 — Q&A With Robbie Rist
A career that is decades long with credits in The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Iron Eagle, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Naruto.
Yes… I finally reached the point where I could write this piece about Robbie Rist, the final guest panelist during Day 1 of Central Florida Comic Con 2025 (CFCC 2025). I was trying to finish it by February, but was asked to teach nightly and daily after-school classes at the TKD dojang.
Robbie has an extensive resume of work dating back to his childhood. His childhood acting credits include The Brady Bunch, Lucas Tanner, Big John, Little John, The Bionic Women, and Whiz Kids.
He is also a well-known voice actor whose credits include Batman: The Animated Series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Godzilla: The Series, Doc McStuffins, Sonic Boom, The Adventures of Puss In Boots, Transformers: Robots In Disguise, Mega Man Star Force, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, Naruto, Naruto: Shippuden, The Last: Naruto the Movie, and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Robbie is known as the voice of Choji Akamichi in Naruto, but he’s also known for the voice of Michelangelo in 1990s live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trilogy.
