‘The Greatest Beer Run Ever,’ starring Zac Efron, warrants civil martial arts discourse, as martial artists, too, are susceptible to propaganda and lack of transparent information.
Almost three weeks ago I checked out The Greatest Beer Run Ever, based on the non-fiction book of the same name, which stars Zac Efron and Russell Crowe. Efron plays John “Chickie” Donohue, who co-wrote the original text, who is a former United States Marine and then-merchant seaman, who goes on that “greatest beer run ever.”

I originally wasn’t going to watch the film because I found the story’s premise to be ridiculous because of my view towards war, my family living through the Vietnam War, and a bunch of other reasons.
