Guilty Gear Strive’s Coming To Switch!? Don’t Get Excited, YET!

The Switch port launches in January 2025.

I was surprised at the news that Guilty Gear Strive, the latest installment of Arc System Works’ popular fighting game series, would be ported on the Nintendo Switch. I am SOMEWHAT happy about the news because I own a few Nintendo Switch consoles and am a fighting game fan, but I have reservations.

The Nintendo Switch isn’t equipped to handle heavy games.

I have a Steam Deck console and games like Guilty Gear Strive and Tekken 8 make it overheat fast.

Don’t even get me started with Mortal Kombat 1…
