Happy 23rd to ‘Resident Evil Survivor’
The first Resident Evil FPS title was released for the PlayStation on January 27th, 2003.
January 27th, 2023, which is today, marks the 23rd anniversary of Resident Evil Survivor, a first-person shooter spinoff, which is known as the Gun Survivor series. The game puts players in the role of Ark Thompson who survived a helicopter crash that gave him amnesia. Ark finds himself in unknown territory without any recollection of who he is but runs into a man, Andy Holland, who calls him “Vincent.”
Ark believes himself to be “Vincent” throughout most of the game until he comes across the real Vincent Goldman, the main antagonist of Resident Evil Survivor. It turns out that Goldman is the administrator of the Umbrella facility on Sheena Island, the game’s setting, and is responsible for unleashing the T-Virus on its citizens.
Still believing himself to be Vincent, Ark comes across the Klein children (Lily and Lott), who become invaluable allies in his quest for uncovering the truth. Though they don’t immediately…
