February 7th, 2023 served as the 25th anniversary of Power Rangers in Space, the sixth season of the franchise. It is also the 24th anniversary of the franchise’s seventh season, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, which continues the trend of adventures taking place beyond Earth. The series, though having a new set of Rangers, has several connections with Power Rangers in Space.
This is also the first series in which Eugene “Skull” Skullovitch is neither a main nor recurring cast member. I believe this is when Skull’s actor, Jason Narvy, pursued his collegiate education.
The story of how Power Rangers in Space ended would set up the story of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.
