Happy 25th Anniversary to Cowboy Bebop, one of the anime G.O.A.Ts

The first episode aired on April 3rd, 1998. It would become one of the most popular anime franchises.

On April 3rd, 1998, TV Tokyo aired the first episode of Cowboy Bebop, which became one of the most iconic anime series to ever exist. It became one of my ultimate favorite titles to watch, let alone rewatch over and over again. I knew Cowboy Bebop existed as I saw the videotapes for rent at the local comic book store I frequented but I saw the anime for the first time on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block.

After I watched an episode for the first time, when it debuted in 2001 on Adult Swim, I was hooked.

I would stay up late for Adult Swim so I could enjoy watching Cowboy Bebop. The world of Cowboy Bebop is beautiful in its chaotic way because it meshed together many eras of pop culture and genres of entertainment. To sum it up, Cowboy Bebop is a unique work of art that was years ahead of its time.

Cowboy Bebop is a beautiful piece of work that cannot be explained, it has to be watched and experienced.
