Happy 30th to the PBS series ‘Ghostwriter’

The PBS series aired on October 4th, 1992, and finished on February 12th, 1995, for three seasons and 74 episodes. October 2022 marks the 30th anniversary of the iconic series.

October 2022 is the 30th anniversary of the popular kids’ show Ghostwriter, not talking about the reboot that’s on Apple TV+, which aired on the PBS network on October 4th, 1992. The show ran until February 12th, 1995, for a total of 74 episodes. It was a show that was ahead of its time but unfortunately had to end because the production company continued to receive less funding from its sponsors and other financial backers.

The premise of the show centers on a group of pre-teen amateur operatives who live in the Brooklyn borough of New York City where most of them attend the fictional Zora Neale Hurston Middle School (named after the real-life person of the same name).
