Learning Of Jill Stein’s Existence

It was a few months before Election Day in the 2012 U.S. Presidential Elections (the contest between Senator Barack Obama (D-Illinois) and Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) and I took a political quiz to see which candidate supported my interests. I can’t remember the questions but the quiz surprised me. The ideal candidate for me to vote for was “Jill Stein” of the Green Party.

“Who the hell is Jill Stein?” I asked myself. I never heard of her.

When I contributed to Digital Journal back then, a fellow contributor said he didn’t support incumbent Barack Obama in 2012 and openly supported Jill Stein. After Obama was reelected in 2012, after beating GOP nominee Mitt Romney, we didn’t hear from Jill Stein again.

…UNTIL the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election between Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-New York) and Donald J. Trump (R-New York).

Jill Stein came into the public spotlight (again) and made another U.S. Presidential run.
