SAO Fans, SAO Alternative: GGO S2 Streams In October

Over six years have passed since the first season aired.

If you’re a fan of Sword Art Online, look forward to the upcoming October 2024 premiere of Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online II. The second season continues from where the first season, which premiered in April 2018, ends when Team LPFM learns of a sudden death battle royale.

The team enters the tournament and is favored to win but faces challenges and new rules.

SAO Alternative: GGO II streams on Crunchyroll on October 4.

The animated series is adapted from the original light novel series written by Keiichi Sigsawa and illustrated by Kouhaku Kuroboshi which runs in ASCII Media’s Dengeki Bunko imprint. The light novel currently spans 13 volumes.

SAO Alternative: GGO II began its run on December 10, 2014.

It received a manga adaptation from December 2015 to January 2021 for four volumes on ASCII Media’s Dengeki Maoh imprint.
