In the early 90s, Marvel Comics published an incredibly ICONIC mini-series titled Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage. Cletus Kasady learns he can create a clone of the Carnage symbiote, which he uses to break free from Ravencroft. He frees Shriek, a fellow inmate, as they wreak “Maximum Carnage” on the population of New York City.

Carnage recruits Doppelganger, Demogoblin, and Carrion to help exact his reign of terror.

Despite the newly recruited “family” members despising Carnage, they remain for Shriek’s sake.

The titular Peter Parker aka “Spider-Man” must align with his archenemy Eddie Brock aka “Venom” to stop Carnage’s reign of bloodshed and chaos. They are joined by Felicia Hardy aka “Black Cat,” one of Spider-Man’s romantic interests through the decades.
