The Creeper NEEDS To Be A Future ‘Mortal Kombat’ Guest Fighter

The lore of ‘Jeepers Creepers’ and the Creeper’s backstory make this terrifying antagonist a perfect fit in the ‘Mortal Kombat’ universe. As long as Victor Salva is NOT involved at all.

Ever since Mortal Kombat 9, which gave the franchise a needed reboot, given the failure of Mortal Kombat 4 and the following three games (MK: Deadly Alliance, MK: Deception, and MK: Armageddon), characters from other franchises, like Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare On Elm Street, has made special guest appearances with great reception.

If you are a fan of horror and science-fiction, Mortal Kombat XL delivered with the following special guest characters such as

  • Predator from the Predator franchise
  • Xenomorph from the Aliens franchise
  • Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise
  • Jason Voorhies from the Friday the 13th franchise

If you are a fan of the action genre, Mortal Kombat 11 delivered with the following special guest characters such as

  • John Rambo from the Rambo franchise
  • The T-800 from The Terminator franchise
  • Spawn from the Spawn franchise
  • Joker from the DC Comics franchise
  • Robocop from the Robocop franchise

Ash Williams from The Evil Dead franchise was supposed to be a special guest character in Mortal Kombat 11 but that didn’t happen.

There will be the twelfth installment of Mortal Kombat because the franchise is too big to end now, especially with the thriving fighting game community scene. It’s a trend for most fighting game franchises to have special guest characters, no matter how plausible or downright illogical (The Walking Dead’s Negan or Final Fantasy XV’s Noctis being put in Tekken 7) it may sound.
